What is Synergle?

Synergle is a free daily puzzle for Teamfight Tactics players. Every day you get sixteen champions from the current set, Set 18: Enchanted Wilds. Your job is to sort them into four groups of four that share something. Sometimes it's a trait you've played a hundred times, sometimes a detail hidden in an ability tooltip, and sometimes just a pun in a champion's name.

Each puzzle has exactly one solution. We check this automatically, so no puzzle can be solved two different ways. But plenty of champions look like they belong in two places, and spotting those red herrings is the whole game.

How to play

1. Tap four champions you think belong together, then press Submit.
2. Guess right and the group locks in with its category revealed. Guess wrong and you lose one of your four mistakes.
3. If three of your four picks are right, you'll see "One away...".
4. Solve all four groups to win, then share your result grid with friends.

Groups are color-coded by difficulty, like shop rarity: green is the most straightforward, followed by blue and purple, while gold is the most devious. Read the full rules and strategy tips.

What can link four champions?

Shop cost

All four cost the same gold, such as 4-Cost Champions.

Traits

All four share an origin or class from Set 18. Riftbeast alone has 10 champions to choose from.

Trait trivia

Champions with only one trait, three traits, or a trait nobody else has.

Ability effects

Abilities that stun, shield, dash, shred armor or replace basic attacks.

Augments

Champions that a specific augment hands out when you take it.

League of Legends lore

Home regions like Ionia or the Freljord, yordles, vastaya and sibling pairs.

Wordplay

Names hiding animals or body parts, four-letter names, compound words and more.

Is Synergle free?

Yes. There's nothing to buy and no account. Your progress and statistics are saved in your browser.

When does the next puzzle come out?

Every day at midnight in your own time zone, just like other daily word games. If you can't wait, play as many practice puzzles as you like.

Do archive and practice games count for my streak?

No. Your streak and win percentage only track the daily puzzle, so you can practice without risking your streak.

Is this an official Riot Games game?

No. Synergle is a fan project made under Riot Games' "Legal Jibber Jabber" policy and isn't endorsed by Riot Games. Read more about the project.
